Advantages of belt drives
A belt drive absorbs less power than a conventional chain, it lasts longer and provides a smoother ride as well as reducing load on the transmission components.
We have found that belt drives can last up to 4 racing seasons while a chain drive may fail much sooner.
Letting the clutch run dry means that it does not stick as much as when run in an oil bath.
Belt Drives improve engine power by reducing the absorption of chains and also improve reliability and smoothness.
